On some lines it is necessary to change trains in Ljubljana or Zidani Most. You can also travel by train from Budapest (Hungary) and Venice (Italy). On those lines it is necessary to change trains in Pragersko.

From Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia you need an hour driving (road A1/E57), from the Austrian border just a few minutes (road A9/E57/E59), and from Zagreb (road 1/E59) less than two hours.
